Infrastructure

Network, Security & Command Center Infrastructure

Fiber backbone, structured cabling, firewall, PABX and CCTV across city facilities, with a command center for the CDRRMO.

Client: City Government of Imus Sector: Government & public sector
Project overview

What was implemented

The physical layer under everything else. We delivered the cabling, fiber, network security, telephony and camera infrastructure across city facilities, and built the command center from which the city's disaster risk reduction and management office monitors and coordinates.

The challenge

Before the project

City facilities were connected inconsistently, remote offices were effectively isolated, and there was no single location from which the city could monitor conditions or coordinate a response. Surveillance, telephony and data each had their own arrangements, and network security was applied unevenly.

Our solution

What ITDC delivered

We implemented structured cabling and a fiber backbone linking city facilities and remote offices, deployed firewall and PABX, installed CCTV across city buildings and key public areas, and fitted out a command center for the CDRRMO where the camera feeds and coordination functions come together.

Key features

What the system does

Fiber backbone

Fiber linking main city facilities, with remote offices brought onto the network.

Structured cabling

Standards-based cabling within facilities, replacing ad-hoc runs.

Network security

Firewall deployment to apply a consistent security boundary.

PABX telephony

Telephony across city facilities on a single system.

CCTV

Cameras across city buildings and key public areas, backhauled to the command center.

CDRRMO command center

Monitoring and coordination facility for disaster risk reduction and emergency response.

Technical architecture

How it fits together

A layer-level view. We do not publish hostnames, addresses, credentials, firewall rules or topology detail for systems in production.

Implementation

How it was rolled out

01

Site survey

Facility-by-facility survey of existing cabling, connectivity and camera coverage.

02

Backbone and cabling

Fiber backbone and structured cabling installed, remote offices connected.

03

Systems deployment

Firewall, PABX and CCTV deployed across facilities.

04

Command center fit-out

CDRRMO command center built out and commissioned, with operator training.

Outcomes

What came of it

Each outcome carries the label that describes what kind of claim it is. We never present a target as a measured result — see our claims policy.

Measured Result
Fiber backbone and remote offices connected

City facilities and remote offices brought onto one network.

Measured Result
CCTV across city buildings and key areas

Camera coverage across city facilities and public areas.

Measured Result
CDRRMO command center commissioned

A single facility from which the city monitors and coordinates emergency response.
